Today’s daily travel photo is of a couple Bolivian boys feeding perched pigeons with feed in their hands from  in downtown La Paz, Bolivia.   I found this to be an especially precious scene because of how ecstatic the boys were to be interacting with the pigeons in such an intimate manner.  Since I’ve left Bolivia nearly three years ago, I’ve been keen on returning to do more travel.  I’ve been keen on contributing some labour to meaningful projects in Bolivia or volunteering in Latin America in other countries when I return again in 2014.  This is a travel photo from La Paz, Bolivia.  To view more travel images click on the happy Bolivian boys feeing a cluster of pigeons.

People handling pigeons used to skeeve me out. I always thought they carried deadly viruses and diseases. I swear, pigeons in NYC all somehow disappeared… Yet your photo reminds me of the time in Lima when children would revel in the moment with these pigeons in front of the San Francisco church. It is indeed a precious scene to watch…
