While wandering around the streets late at night, I encountered these Thai ladies engaging in candid conversation at the down-town night bazaar in Chiang Mai, Thailand. One can only imagine what they were saying. They could be talking about anything from the colorful flowers in front of them to their husbands strangest habits. One thing I love about travel photos is that you can often use your own imagination to fill in the dots to create your own interpretation. While taking this photo I had my 50 mm lens with me that allowed me to use a wider aperture. Using my standard walk around lens that I carry during the day wouldn’t have been sufficient for taking a series of night travel photos. Without a shadow of a doubt, mastering night photography is one of the trickiest genres to tackle. This is a travel photo from Chiang Mai, Thailand.
