Churros for sale from a street vendor in Buenos Aires, Argentina

My latest travel picture from Latin America is of an animated street vendor selling churros and donuts around the San Telmo barrio of Buenos Aires, Argentina.  As one of the most delectable street food snacks I’ve had anywhere, Churros are sometimes referred to as a Spanish doughnut.  These deep fried pastries are often paired with hot chocolate; dunking and dipping is highly encouraged 😉  Popular in certain European countries and in Latin America, I’ve also noticed these pastries making their mark in Asia.  I tried eating churros recently in Korea; although, they didn’t taste as good as in Latin America, I found myself being reminded of my backpacking adventures across South America every time I sank my teeth in the moist outer layer.    This is a travel photo from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
