Today’s feature travel photo from Europe is of our a ferry ride we took from Finland to Estonia on a gorgeous morning day when the sun was out shining.

The two hour ferry ride from Helsinki to Tallinn reminded me in many ways of my childhood. Growing up on Vancouver Island our family often took ferry trips from Nanaimo or Victoria to Vancouver.

I always associated travel/adventure with taking the ferry, as it often meant we’d be traveling to different parts of Canada or to the US.

On this particular journey it was the first time I’ve ever crossed an International border by ferry.

The Immigration process was literally non-existent. As soon as we exited the ferry we suddenly arrived in a new country.
