Last fall I was fortunate enough to visit my family in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Often I would go walking with my Mom in the afternoon as part of our daily routine. On this particularly gorgeous day I noticed the New Brunswick flag waving proudly in the wind. It is modelled based on the coat of arms for the province. Elements on the flag include a gold lion representing ties to Germany and the Monarch of Canada. The ever present Spanish Galleon makes up the lower part.
