Today’s daily travel photo is of a young Thai Muay Thai fighter attempting to kick his opponent in a match – Chiang Mai, Thailand. I highly recommend anyone who visits Thailand to check out a Muay Thai match. It’s a very entertaining experience and this unique martial arts is very much an integral part of Thai culture. This is a travel photo from a Muay Thai match in Thailand. Click on the photo to view more pictures from my Muay Thai gallery.

Awesome action shot Sam! The ropes make a nice frame as well.

Great shot! I have always wanted to go in a Muay Thai training “holiday” to Thailand and get ripped

This photo is great! I never caught a muay thai match myself while I was there, but it looks really exciting! And I hear you, Maria — who wouldn’t want those muscles?!

Nice shot. That sport is brutal to watch – I’m not much of a fighter myself – but it definitely is something you should experience when visiting Thailand. We watched a fight that was more of a show (It didn’t have any title or competition resting on the result) and it was still full on and made me cringe a lot.
