This is a travel image of a collection of Korean dates being sold at a local Korean open market located in the downtown area of Daejeon, South Korea. Visiting the local markets is one of my favourite activities in any country. Even though I’ve lived in Korea for years I still get a buzz when I’m out wandering about in a Korean market. The dates in Korea are quite different from the ones from the Middle East that I’m used to. Although I like a lot of Korean food, I must admit I prefer dates from the Middle East.
