Today’s daily travel photo is of a small bag of Korean walnut cakes (Hodu Gwaja (호두과자) filled with red bean paste.  The walnut cakes are a delicious snack found typically at subway, train and bus station stops.  I associate eating these tasty treats with taking long distance buses around Korea.  I almost always grab a small bag of these around the midway point of the journey.  Korean walnut cakes originated from Cheonan, South Korea.  I’m thankful to whoever created them 🙂
