Bangladeshi oarsman paddling along Buriganga River

Today’s daily feature travel image is of a Bangladeshi oarsman wearing traditional longyi and a charcoal colored collared shirt as he paddles along the Buriganga River in Dhaka, Bangladesh. His steely serious face was in stark contrast to the many smiles I encountered while taking a boat trip along the Sadarghat.  In the background one can notice the faded bokeh where numerous types of vessels are plying the hectic Buriganga River.  This is a travel photo from the Sadarghat, Buriganga River – Old Dhaka, Bangladesh.  To view more of my travel pictures from Old Dhaka click on the stern faced man.
