Today’s daily travel photo is of type of Chinese Peranakan (Baba-Nyonya) Pineapple tart that is an infamous treat found in the hub of Malacca, Malaysia. One of the reasons I’m so found of Melaka has a lot to do with the diverse and unique cuisine. Whether it’s savory curries, tantalizing salads or sweet desserts I’ve got options galore when choosing a meal or snack. Now that I’m back in Malacca I’m trying more and more dishes that I didn’t have the first time around. All of this adds up to one of the many reasons I love to travel in Malaysia. I’ll be eating more delicious treats as I move upwards to Kuala Lumpur and Penang in coming days. For more of my photos from Malacca, Malaysia click on the lovely pineapple tarts.

Looks delicious. I’ve always been a big fan of pineapple and have tried many tarts. Have you ever tried just slicing a fresh pineapple and grilling it for a snack? It’s a delicious, budget friendly and extremely satisfying treat!
