Today’s daily snapshot photo from Asia is of a group of local Vietnamese boys having fun by playing & burying one another in the sand on a beach in Nha Trang, Vietnam. Unlike other touristic beaches in Asia, Nha Trang is a beach town destination where you’ll still notice plenty of foreigners; however, you’ll also see many Vietnamese vacationing here as well. I especially noticed many young Vietnamese couples walking together and having picnics. There were also a lot of young Vietnamese boys playing around in the sand and splashing in the water. As a tourist, I felt relieved knowing that locals and Vietnamese people from other parts of the country were enjoying this destination just as much as I was. One of my travel pet peeves is when a place is devoid of culture and only appeals to sex tourists. This is a travel photo from Nha Trang, Vietnam. How funny – I haven’t done this in YEARS but this photo really takes me back to how fun it was. Maybe next time I’m at the beach? 😉

It makes me wish I was still a kid 🙂
I remember my bonding moments with high school friends way back 😀
Yeah, I have great memories of playing with friends at a local river & nearby beach. It’s those carefree moments that really define a happy childhood 🙂
Great shot right there. I hope they remembered to dig him out before they left.
LOL, yeah that would be a cruel trick – maybe it explains the smile the boy has on his face with the big pile of sand in his hands 😛
