This is a travel photo of a street scene in Casablanca, Morocco, Africa. Examining the picture closer one can see many fine paintings along with arts and crafts lined up against the white outer wall. These kind of travel photos are some of my favourite as they give insight into the culture and everyday life of the particular destination. I’d like to thank Kevin Kato for contributing this guest photo of the day. Be sure to check out his top travel blog Kevin Kato and follow him on twitter.

This was one of the things that I LOVED and found fascinating about Morocco…you could find everything and anything for sale on its streets, from fine works of art to old 80′s 8 track tapes. I could have wandered around there for hours just gawking.

Wandering through the street markets was one my most enjoyable memories of Morocco. I didn’t get to Casablanca but the street markets in Essaouira and Fez were amazing too. Great photo!

Cherina, I’m certainly sold! There are few things I enjoy more than wandering around in interesting local markets.
