Today’s daily travel photo is of a water stilt school in Kampong Ayer (water stilt village) located in the capital of Bandar Seri Begawan. 39,000 people live in this massive water village complex of which the stilt houses are constructed over the Brunei river. It’s literally the world’s largest water village. It includes all facilities, ammenities and public service buildings a community requires: hospitals, schools, mosques, restaurants, shops. This is a travel photo from Kampong Ayer – Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. To view the rest of my travel image gallery from this area click on the photo.
