We wanted to wish all of our fans a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Audrey’s apartment in South Korea.
For those wanting to know how to say it in Korean, check this out: “즐거운 성탄절 보내시고 새해 복 많이 받으세요”
Sometimes during Christmas and New Years it can be a difficult time being a foreigner living abroad. It’s especially this time of year that you really start to miss your family, friends and other loved ones. We’re lucky in the sense, that we have each other to celebrate with; moreover, in Korea Christmas is quite a bit deal so the festive season atmosphere is certainly in the air.
Over the past several months we’ve really appreciated all of our fans who have taken the time to check out our silly, crazy, outrageous and quirky travel videos from our Life in Korea series. We’ve really appreciated the support and we promise many more travel videos in the New Year. We can’t wait to share with you what life is like on the road where we’ll be swapping our teaching jobs in hopes of making it as digital nomads.
Our time in Korea has almost come to a close. I’ve already finished my teaching contract having returned home to Canada – and I’ll be back in Korea again in a few weeks time. Audrey just has a few more weeks. In the near future we’ll be off to Malaysia to start our backpacking journeys in SE Asia. We’re seriously excited about this as we’ve been gearing up for it all year long.
In the meantime, we want to wish all of you the best and we hope many fantastic things are just around the corner for all of you.
