Thailand is a country that holds a special place in my heart. Over the past decade it’s the destination I’ve visited more than any other country. When it comes to food, culture, weather, attractions and affordability few countries offer better value. Each individual video consist of twenty unique photos that are transitioned over six second intervals with accompanying music.
Some of the highlights include the following:
> The magnificent regal Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew located alongside the Chao Phraya River
> Cruising down the Chao Phraya River in a river taxi with Buddhist Monks, Thais and other farangs
> Checking out the cultural and tourist HUB infamously known as Khao San Road
> Having your senses assaulted at Chatuchak Weekend Market where there are over 5000 stalls and 200,000 visitors per day
> Visiting the floating markets nearby Bangkok
> Heading up north to Chiang Mai for cultural activities
> Exploring random Buddhist temples
> Getting up close with Thai Buddhist Monks
> Exploring the gorgeous hillside region of Northern Thailand
> Visiting the numerous Ethnic minority hillside tribes located in Northern Thailand
> Learning how to make Thai food
> Gormandizing on delicious Thai food that includes favourites such as Pad Thai and other curries
> Watching a Thai martial arts performance called Muay Thai
> Checking out various markets and cultural performances
Thailand is a country I recommend highly to just about any kind of traveller (whether they be newbies or seasoned veterans) given the diverse cultural opportunities, food and terrain. This is part 10 of 72. Check back daily to check out the latest video in the series.
